WARSAW TWP. – State Police say a 21-year-old Brookville man suffered serious injuries in a side-by-side wreck last Saturday.
Ryan Sarvey was reportedly eastbound on Hazen-Richardsville Road in Warsaw Township when he lost control of his UTV after hitting a deer. The side-by-side hit an embankment and then rolled over several times. Both Sarvey and a passenger, 20-year-old Mackenzie Mooney of Brockway, were transported from the scene of the crash for medical attention. Police say Mooney’s injuries appeared to be minor.
Sarvey was reportedly charged with a traffic violation.
