Brookville Man Facing Terroristic Threat Charges

NEW BETHLEHEM – A Brookville man is behind bars after allegedly making serious threats against an area school Monday afternoon.

At around 12:24 pm Monday, officers with the Clarion County Regional Police Department were dispatched to Redbank Valley High School after a teacher reported receiving threats.

The teacher stated that they had received a call from 42 year-old Jason Mitchell, who allegedly stated that he was going to kill both the teacher and students.

Due to the threats, the school entered into a lockdown.

Since the threats were made, Mitchell has been placed in the Clarion County Jail, where he faces multiple felony charges for the threat.
