Brookville, PA – A Brookville man was arrested for forging a stolen check and attempting to cash it.
Brookville Borough Police say the suspect allegedly took a personal check from someone in DuBois, signed it, and attempted to cash the check on Jan. 1 at a bank in Brookville.
The suspect’s name is not being released.
Police say he is currently in the Jefferson County Jail on PFA order violations and charges of forgery.
