BROOKVILLE – A Brookville man is behind bars after allegedly strangling his daughter during an argument.
According to State Police, on July 6th a woman had reported to them that her father, 59 year-old Shannon Hoffman, had allegedly gotten into an argument with her before blocking her friend’s car from leaving.
He then allegedly grabbed her from the vehicle, pushed her to the ground, and placed his hands around her neck.
When questioned, Hoffman allegedly confirmed the story. He is now at the Jefferson County Jail facing felony strangulation charges.
