Brookville, PA – The Hometown Market building in Brookville caught fire recently, forcing the business to temporarily close.

However, they expect to be open again this morning.

The Brookville Hometown Market Facebook page explained that, thankfully, the damage from the fire only penetrated the first few feet of the building on West Taylor Street.

Most of the damage happened to the exterior of the building, near the main front canopy, where it’s believed the fire started due to an electrical issue.

There were no injuries.

Again, the Hometown Market store in Brookville is back open and wants to say thank you to all of the fire fighters who helped save the building, as well as their loyal customers who showed their concern and support.

According to a new post from Tuesday afternoon:

All of us here at Hometown Markets would like to thank you for your kind words and concerns about our Brookville location. The damage that our building received wasn’t extensive and only penetrated the front few feet of our building. We have used our main contractors and service vendors to clean, sanitize and repair the damages to the building and its contents. Luckily most of the damage was to the exterior of the building, mostly the main front canopy area. We were very lucky. There were no injuries due to the fire, which is a blessing for all of us. We appreciate your concerns and your business. We will be open tomorrow beginning at 8:00am for all your grocery needs. ❤ We appreciate all of you! ❤
