
Lumber City, PA – A broken shotgun with the serial number scratched off of it was found in Clearfield County, and police want your help finding out where it came from.
A black Browning Maxus 12-gauge shotgun worth about $200 was found in a wooded area near Farm Road in Lumber City Borough, Clearfield County.
State Police in Clearfield were alerted of it on June 14.
Most notably, the shotgun did not have a barrel attached.
The serial number on the shotgun was also scratched off.
