CLEARFIELD – A Brockway woman will serve nine to 18 months in the Clearfield County Jail after she admitted to stealing a truck in Sandy Township.
According to court documents, 38-year-old Dana Thomas was also facing charges of retail theft and drug possession. Thomas allegedly told investigators that she was under the influence of heroin when she made the decision to steal the truck last July. Two days later, the vehicle was found abandoned on private property along Parrott Road.
In addition to jail time, Thomas was also sentenced this week to two years of probation and was ordered to pay $600 in restitution.
