Brockway Schools Replacing Kitchen Equipment

BROCKWAY – Brockway Schools will be purchasing just over $50,000 dollars on new kitchen equipment.

This week the board approved to buy eight heating cabinets, five roll in refrigerators, and eleven bun/sheet pan racks as current equipment is beginning to show years of wear and use.

“The equipment is 27 plus years old from the renovation that was done in 1997 roughly,“ explained Superintendent Brian Mulhollan. “The equipment that we’re currently using is beginning to falter and not work.”

This will be paid from the cafeteria fund, which includes leftover money from allocated COVID funds.
