BROCKWAY – The Brockway School District is looking at a potential partnership with the group SitelogIQ to upgrade facilities and develop a long term improvement plan.
SitelogIQ specializes in providing more efficient, sustainable, and cost effective options through hands-on engineering and design.
“We’re going to keep the assets that you have,“ explained a representative from SitelogIQ. “And make sure that they are very well maintained. And then we are going to identify what you would have to plan for in the future.”
If implemented, they would assess all buildings, delivering a digital report with project priorities, life expectancies, and costs, while helping secure grants.
Ultimately, the cost to the district would be “minimal”, as their fee is typically waived as the partnership moves forward.
Board members agreed that their goal is smart spending while building a district others admire. No final decision has been made.
