The $17,060,127 budget was approved during the regular February meeting Tuesday night.The district also agreed to have FieldTurf USA work on the baseball and softball infields. The project will cost $416,745.The district is changing its calendar to make up the three snow days it had so far this winter. April 7, 8, and 9 will no longer be part of spring break. The high school is currently operating remotely due to the number of COVID-19 cases in the district. The school is still in session, but students are attending online classes while the teachers report to the building. The elementary school is operating as normal.Superintendent Jeff Vizza addressed the closure during the meeting.The district is working with Penn Highlands Healthcare to vaccinate over 120 employees this Friday.The Brockway School Board will meet again March 9 at 7 p.m.Connect FM · Jeff Vizza – Brockway COVID-19 shutdown Feb 9 2021
