BROCKWAY — No Injuries were reported when a fire damaged a Brockway home Thursday morning, displacing four people.

According to Brockway Fire Chief Mike Hoskavich, flames broke out in the basement of a house on 12th Avenue. Hoskavich said the basement was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. While the fire reportedly spread upstairs and caused some heat and smoke damage, Hoskavich said he believes that more than half of the structure can be saved.

Initial reports indicate that the fire was accidental, but an investigation is pending.

The American Red Cross is assisting the four people who lived in the house.
