Brockway, PA – Brockway School District is seeing its first confirmed case of COVID-19 at the Brockway High School.
The person, who is not identified as either a student or staff member, has not been in the school building since Oct. 9.
The Department of Health is helping Brockway school officials do contact tracing to find anyone else who might have been infected.

Brockway is also planning on doing a virtual flex day for the junior-senior high school, but this was already planned before the school had any positive cases.
Junior and senior high school students in Brockway will all do their classwork virtually from home on Oct. 30. This will help make sure the network can handle that many people doing online instruction at once and ensure that every student has the technology they need at home.
Elementary students will still go to school in person on that day.
