Brockport woman enters home while high, steals beer

Horton Township, PA – A Brockport woman is accused of entering a home while under the influence of a controlled substance, causing damage and stealing a beer out of the fridge.

A 4-year-old child was also left alone during that burglary, though it’s unclear from the report who was supposed to be watching the child.

State Police in Ridgway were called out to Keystone Road in Horton Township on April 7 for reports of a suspicious woman.

They found that the unnamed 38-year-old Brockport woman had entered a home and taken a Corona Extra beer from the refrigerator before fleeing.

She was later found nearby on Keystone Road and was acting in a strange manner.

During the investigation, police found she was under the influence of a controlled substance and had multiple items of drug paraphernalia in plain view.

They also said, in addition to stealing the beer, she also damaged a flower pot.

Child and Youth Services responded to assist due to the fact a 4-year-old Brockway girl was left alone at the residence during the alleged burglary. It’s unclear from the report whether that child belongs to the suspect or to the victims.

The victims are listed as a 19-year-old man and a 39-year-old man, both from Brockport.

The investigation is ongoing.
