DuBois, PA – A very special donation was made to our annual Make-A-Wish Light Up a Child’s Life campaign in DuBois by Brock Roy, a wish kid who brought in $500 himself to give back so that other kids like him get their wishes granted!
Brock and his family stopped by the radio station to drop off their donation and share Brock’s story.
Brock got to ring the end-of-chemo bell in Pittsburgh last year during Make-A-Wish after fighting cancer. He is now doing well and is feeling healthy!
When Brock got his wish, he went to swim with dolphins and had a fantastic vacation with his family.
Our schools are expected to bring in some great donations as well, and our grand total continues to grow.
However, your donation is still vital in helping to provide those magical wishes, so please keep listening and making your contributions throughout today and tomorrow for our Make-A-Wish week!
