HomeFeel-Good/EventsBrian Smith helps hold license plate replacement events for Jefferson CountyBrian Smith helps hold license plate replacement events for Jefferson CountySun, August 7, 2022 by Louise BennettSHARE NOW Jefferson County – If you own a vehicle in Jefferson County, an opportunity to get a free replacement of a faded or peeling Pennsylvania license plate is coming soon.Tomorrow, Monday, August 8 will be the first of two events in partnership with Brian Smith and local law enforcement.Tomorrow’s event will take place at the Brookville Borough Complex on Western Avenue from 4 to 6 p.m.There will also be a Punxsutawney event on August 15 at the Punxsutawney Borough Complex on East Mahoning Street from 4 to 6 p.m.If one or more numbers or letters on your plate cannot be recognized from 50 feet away, or if there is blistering, peeling, discoloration or loss of reflectivity, the plate should be replaced.
