Break-In Leads to Stabbing

CLEARFIELD – Police are investigating a break-in in Clearfield that led to one man getting stabbed.

According to police, they responded to the 600 block of Daisy Street after receiving a call that someone was breaking into the back door. 

Once on scene police learned that the unnamed 39 year-old suspect attempted to enter the building while threatening another inside. The altercation then moved outside where the 39 year-old was stabbed with a pocket knife. 

He was transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield then to Penn Highlands DuBois for internal injuries. Police continue to investigate.
