Brady Township, PA – The fire marshal is investigating what caused a fire in Brady Township, in the Luthersburg area, that injured one person and killed several pets.
State Police in DuBois say the fire destroyed a home on Autumn Lane just before 10 p.m. Friday.
A 55-year-old man and 23-year-old woman live there.
Although no one was home at the time, one person suffered minor injuries while attempting to rescue pets from the home. Unfortunately, several of those pets died.
The fire is believed to have started at the rear entrance of the home, but the cause has not been determined.
The home was a complete loss, and damage was estimated to be at least $100,000.
