Harrisburg, PA. January 23, 2020. Application forms for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program are now available for eligible Pennsylvanians to begin claiming rebates on property taxes or rent paid in 2019, Revenue Secretary Dan Hassell announced today. The deadline to apply for a rebate is June 30, 2020.
HARRISBURG – If you qualified for a rebate on rent or property taxes paid in 2021, you could receive a bonus rebate this year.
State officials announced Tuesday that a new law, Act 54 of 2022, would give qualified Pennsylvanians an additional one-time bonus equal to 70 percent of their original amount. Approximately $140 million in funds from the American Rescue Plan Act is being used to make the rebates possible.
The bonus rebates should be received automatically from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue by those who qualify.
