Body found in Susquehanna River near Curwensville

CURWENSVILLE – State Police and the Clearfield County Coroner are continuing their investigation after a body was pulled from the West Branch of the Susquehanna River near Curwensville.

Coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder has confirmed that the dead person is a young boy, and his body was found near the Lezzer Lumber Bridge on Friday. No other information has been made available as investigators wait for autopsy results.
