PENFIELD – A 10-year-old girl was injured earlier this week when a blown tire struck a vehicle she was riding in on Bennetts Valley Highway in Clearfield County.
State Police say the Penfield girl was a passenger in the Dodge Durango driven by 33-year-old Jessie Kness, also of Penfield, when a blown tire flew off a passing camper trailer and hit the front of the Durango.
Kness’s vehicle was disabled by the damage.
Injuries to the girl were minor, and she was treated at the scene by Bennetts Valley EMS.
The passing vehicle and camper trailer continued northbound and did not stop.
