UNDATED – A sweeping defense bill, backed by Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson could mean bigger paychecks and improved services for military families.
The 2026 National Defense Authorization Act will include a 3.8 percent pay raise for service members, expand housing support, and include more childcare and education resources.
This bill will also help families of firefighters and first responders who get disabled, injured, or die during service.
