Banning Cell Phone Use While Driving

UNDATED – Starting Thursday a new law will prohibit any use of mobile devices while in the driver’s seat, even when completely stopped.

If you are using at least one part of your body to hold a mobile device while operating a vehicle, you will be in violation of the new Distracted Driving Law.

For the first year penalties for violating this law include a written warning, after that time each offense will include a $50 dollar fine
