UNDATED – If you asked for lower gas prices for Christmas this year, Santa has delivered.
The average price per gallon both statewide and in the Western PA region has fallen another seven cents in the last week. The GasBuddy survey and Triple-A East Central Gas Price Report puts the average price at $3.42 per gallon in the commonwealth, and $3.46 per gallon in Western PA.
Locally, the lowest gas prices are in the Brookville area at $3.41. In the DuBois area, gas now averages $3.43 per gallon.
Pennsylvania gas prices are 24 cents lower per gallon than they were last Christmas.
