DUBOIS – This weekend you can join your peers to raise awareness for Autism by walking at the DuBois Mall.
Starting at noon this Saturday, Tim Port says that you can enjoy a variety of activities from the resource fair, basket raffles, and food trucks to show your support for Autism awareness.
“It’s just to connect them, individuals, adults, even kids, and the community, just so they know that there’s resources out there for them,“ explained Port. “They’re open, they’re willing to help out.”
This year, the event will be raising money for Camp Friendship, a place for disabled individuals to take part in camp activities.
Everything kicks off at noon with the Resource Fair, the walk starts at 2pm.
