DUBOIS – The DuBois area just got a little cheesier with the ribbon cutting of Aunt Ellie’s Cheese Shoppe.
Located at 1372 Old 255 Road, this location 10 years in the making is the brainchild of Ellen Stachurski, who left the area to chase musical dreams before returning home to start a new venture.
“I’d be happy to help anyone get together and I’ll show you which products complement each other,” explained Stachursk. “We have crackers from Vermont, from New York. We have mustards from Rhode Island, jams, spreads. We have our own coffee brew that was done in Pittsburgh. We have all types of beautiful, beautiful products really. I can’t wait to share with everyone.“
At Aunt Ellie’s Cheese Shoppe, you can enjoy a variety of artisanal cheeses locally and from around the globe.
They officially open their doors on December 1st from 10am to 6pm daily.
