PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Punxsutawney man is facing charges after an argument allegedly turned physical earlier in the month.

On November 2nd officers were dispatched to a North Main Street home for a reported domestic dispute.

Once on scene, officers learned that 33 year-old Daniel Marana III had allegedly grabbed his girlfriend and shook her in front of their children.

The victim told officers that this was not the first time.

Marana allegedly told officers that arguments started over video games and the children, but denied any physical altercation.

He was then taken into custody and transported to the Punxsutawney Police Station where he faces simple assault charges.
