UNDATED – Over 200 Rite Aid stores will be closing as they file for bankruptcy, including a handful in our area.
Earlier in the month, the pharmacy filed for bankruptcy and is subsidizing all their assets.
Of the 210 stores across 12 states announced to close, 128 of them are in Pennsylvania and multiple are located locally .
Below is the list of stores in our area that are closing.
- 3331 Pleasant Valley Blvd. – Altoona
- 431 Commons Drive – Dubois
- 620 E Allegheny Ave. – Emporium
- 521 North Fraley St. – Kane
- 165 Butler Rd. – Kittanning
- 1120 Philadelphia Ave. – Northern Cambria
- 201 West Mahoning St. – Punxsutawney
- 901 S Saint Marys St. – Saint Marys
- 1365 Logan Ave. – Tyrone
