UNDATED – The Clearly Ahead Development Board is asking for your input, as they prepare to change two area dams into recreational parks.
The board has recently released a FAQ tab on their website addressing community questions on their plans to replace dams at Pee Wee’s Nest in Curwensville and the Raftsman Dam in Clearfield.
All of this stems from a 2023 plan to remove the dams and construct recreational parks along the Susquehanna River.
Last month, the development board was awarded $615,000 dollars through state grants to help fund designs and permits for the project, which are due by December 9th.
