BROCKWAY – January is School Board Appreciation month, and local students in Brockway are taking time to say thank you to the people who help guide the schools.
Brockway Superintendent Brian Mulhollan told us that students showed their appreciation in a hands-on way, creating custom gifts for board members.
“Our student-run manufacturing enterprise group of students had made some cutting boards,” explained Superintendent Mulhollan. “And they had asked that we present those to our board members in recognition of their service.”
School Board Appreciation Month highlights the important role board members play in supporting students, staff, and the future of local education.
