SYKESVILLE – A Sykesville man is behind bars after allegedly striking and strangling a woman in late September.
On September 29th, State Police were called to a Grant Street Residence for a reported domestic dispute.
Upon arrival authorities spoke to 26 year-old Christopher Laub, who allegedly told police that he pushed the female victim.
The Victim however told police that Laub had allegedly grabbed her in a choke hold and struck her in the face.
Laub was then taken to the Jefferson County Jail on a $20,000 dollar bond.
