DUBOIS – DuBois now has a total of nine fire companies operating together under one unified Fire Department.
Adrian-Sandy Fire Company and Oklahoma Fire Company are the latest to join the DuBois Volunteer Fire Department.
Now, all nine fire companies in DuBois and Sandy Township are under one banner in what DuBois Fire Chief John Kelsey previously told us is another step towards consolidation.
We had agreed, when this whole process started, that it made sense for the Fire Department to be unified“ explained Chief Kelsey.
In early July, West Sandy and North Point joined the DuBois Fire Department.
