Administration at DuBois Area High School hope to prevent “senior prank”

DUBOIS – Administration officials of the DuBois Area High School are hoping to prevent a “senior prank” that has been inspired by a trending challenge on a popular social media video site.

Administration members reportedly met with the DuBois senior class Wednesday morning to advise the students of the prank, and to warn them of the dangers it presents and possible criminal consequences if it is carried out.

The so-called “senior prank” involves students dressed in camo, carrying rifle water guns, trespassing through neighborhoods, looking to soak other senior students and their homes.

In the areas where the prank has been carried out, residents have reportedly been frightened and have contacted 911 to report suspicious activity.
