Richland Township, PA – An 83-year-old Jefferson County man was seriously injured in motorcycle crash.
Joseph Beichner from Knox had been riding his Honda Rebel on Salem Road in Richland Township, Clarion County, on July 10.
State Police in Clarion say he had been going too fast when he hit a patch of gravel on a downhill curve.
He lost control of the motorcycle, and the bike fell on top of him and continued to slide down the roadway together for about 15 feet.
Beichner had been wearing his helmet.
He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with serious injuries.
There’s no update on his current condition.
