DUBOIS – A DuBois man is being accused of allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage boy multiple times.
On August 10th Sandy Township police were asked to make contact with a DuBois man, later identified as 68 year-old Eugene Rugh Jr., regarding an alleged sexual assault.
Police learned that a 16 year-old boy went to a nearby house to work on a picnic table, after some time the suspect’s wife went into the basement and witnessed Rugh allegedly performing sexual acts on the boy.
On August 14th an interview was conducted on the victim at the Clearfield Child Advocacy Center where he reportedly admitted to the alleged incident.
The 16 year-old also said that it happened a total of three times spanning back three years.
Rugh faces a slew of charges including three counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a person less than 16 years of age, three counts of indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age, and three counts of corruption of minors.
Rugh is currently being housed at the Clearfield County Jail, he has a preliminary hearing set for August 30th.
