4 Dogs Rescued/Family Displaced After St Marys Blaze

ST MARYS – Four dogs were rescued and a family displaced after a Monday morning fire.

Crews responded to 287 Wilson Road after a reported house fire just after 9am.

While there was no one home at the time of the blaze, four dogs were trapped inside. All dogs were rescued, with the last one sustaining some injuries. 

The house is now a total loss with a large portion of the ground floor destroyed by the fire, and heavy water damage in the basement.

The State Police Fire Marshal is still investigating the origin of the blaze
