360 gallons of used cooking oil stolen from Brookville Frosty Freeze

Rose Township, PA – Someone stole hundreds of gallons of used cooking oil from the Brookville Frosty Freeze.

On Oct. 19, an unknown person reportedly pulled into the rear parking lot of Frosty Freeze on Route 36, Rose Township.

They siphoned out approximately 360 gallons of used cooking oil, worth about $60.

The person also caused about $50 of damage to the tank used to store the oil.

The investigation is ongoing.

Theft of used cooking oil has been happening all over the country for several years now, as it can be sold and used to make biofuel.
