McKean County, PA – A man who was lying in the roadway was struck and killed in McKean County, north of here, early Thursday morning.
33-year-old Clint Fenton from Smethport reportedly was lying on Route 46, the road between Smethport and Emporium, around 1:41 a.m.
When a vehicle ran over him. The driver of that vehicle, who is not being identified, tells police they did not see Fenton in time to stop.
The victim was taken to Olean General Hospital in New York where he was pronounced dead.
It’s unclear from the police report why the man might have been lying in the roadway, but the investigation continues.
