CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man faces charges for allegedly assaulting a Lawrence Township police officer while resisting arrest.
31-year-old Chris Hairston waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, so his case will be heard in Clearfield County Court.
As Hairston was being arrested for disorderly conduct at the Lawrence Park Village Apartment Complex on September 9th, he allegedly put an officer in a headlock.
Two other officers reported abrasions to their knees as they struggled with Hairston during the arrest.
Hairston’s bail is set at $25,000.
