KERSEY – It’s opening day for the 2023 Elk County Fair.
Gates will open at 4pm today in Kersey.
Some of the featured events at this year’s Elk County Fair include Power Wheels races, Horse Shows, a Mud Bog, Mini Rod Tractor pulls, and a Demolition Derby.
The fair will continue through Saturday night.
Today is Senior Citizen Night, so if you are 65 years-of-age or older, you pay half price admission.
The carnival rides are scheduled to open at 5, and then it’s the opening ceremony and crowning of this year’s fair queen starting at 6 at the George Swanson Stage.
Fireworks will cap off the opening day activities at 9:30 tonight.
