DuBois, PA – What a phenomenal year for our Make-A-Wish Greater PA and WV Light Up A Child’s Life Campaign in DuBois!
Together, our community raised $115,735.62 to grant magical wishes for kids dealing with critical illnesses, allowing them to forget about doctors and sickness and to just be a kid!
That is a record year… the HIGHEST total ever collected in DuBois!
That amount of money is enough to cover the average cost of 26 wishes!
Thank you to everyone who donated or volunteered. Pennies turn into dollars, and dollars turn into wishes.
We are blown away by the amount of support, especially in a year coming out of a pandemic! DuBois should be proud!
Lacy Bair, regional director of Make-A-Wish, gives an emotional thank you message for everyone who helped with the 2021 Make-A-Wish Light Up A Child’s Life campaign in DuBois. Together, we raised a record-breaking amount of $115,735!
