Limestone Township, PA – A 16-year-old boy led police on a high-speed chase for 11 miles in Clarion County recently.
Although the report was filed by police yesterday, they say the chase actually happened on Feb. 24 when State Police in Clarion attempted to pull over a vehicle on Route 66 for multiple traffic violations.
The driver sped away, and police had to pursue them for more than 11 miles, throughout Limestone Township, via Route 66 and Maple Drive.
The vehicle was finally stopped when police used a tire deflation device.
The 16-year-old driver remains unnamed because he is a minor.
He will face charges of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, eight counts of recklessly endangering another person, and 59 summary traffic violations.
