$15,000 of items, including gun and model train, stolen from Elk County home

Jay Township, PA – Someone stole about $15,000 worth of items from a home near Weedville.

The thief or thieves forced their way into a home along Gardner Hill Road in Jay Township, Elk County.

It was reported on Dec. 12.

Among the $15,000 worth of stolen items, a Ruger firearm was taken, along with a model train set and an assortment of comic books.

A 42-year-old St. Marys man and 44-year-old Weedville man are listed as the victims.

Police are continuing to investigate.
