15 bricks of heroin/fentanyl found in Jefferson County drug bust

Clover Township, PA – A large amount of heroin was seized in a drug bust in Jefferson County that took several months of hard behind-the-scene work by local law enforcement.

Jefferson County District Attorney Jeff Burkett says a search warrant was served on March 3 at a home along Roller Coaster Road in Clover Township. Investigators found 15 “bricks” of suspected heroin or fentanyl, which equals 750 stamp bags.

They also found cash and several firearms.

Two people were taken into custody in connection with that drug bust: 26-year-old Tyler Jordan Craig and 24-year-old James Craig.

Both are being charged with possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The investigation is ongoing at this time and additional charges are expected to be filed.

Burkett stated, “We received information that there was a fairly significant drug trafficking operation being conducted at this residence in a rural part of our county. Our Drug Task Force then conducted an outstanding undercover investigation which culminated in the execution of this search warrant. Based on our intelligence and the investigation, we expected to find a substantial cache of heroin and currency and we were not disappointed. I thank all the agencies involved in making this search a success and I commend our Drug Take Force for their zeal and commitment in bringing this illicit operation to an end.”

The investigation was conducted by the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office and the Jefferson County Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police, Brookville Police Department, and Jefferson County Probation.
