
Big Run, PA – A teen boy was accidentally shot recently in Jefferson County, but fortunately it was not life-threatening.
State Police in Punxsutawney say a 14-year-old boy from Big Run was accidentally shot in the 400 block of Union Street in Big Run on June 26 around 10:40 p.m.
Police were called to the Punxsutawney Hospital when the boy came there for treatment for the gunshot wound.
They do not say what kind of firearm was used.
The injuries did not endanger his life. The investigation is ongoing.
