Burnside Township, PA – $1,000 was taken from a locked safe at a home near Mahaffey.
State Police in Punxsutawney say that someone entered a home on Byers Road in Burnside Township sometime either late the night of Aug. 11 or early the morning of Aug. 12.
They took $1,000 from a locked gun safe.
It’s unclear from the police report whether the lock had been damaged, picked, or if the thief had a key.
The victim is a 56-year-old man from Mahaffey.
