UNDATED – In honor of one of Western Pennsylvania’s most beloved sons, Fred Rogers, it’s 1-4-3 Day in PA.
Mister Rogers used 1-4-3 as a shorthand to say “I Love You” based on the number of letters in each word.
Today, on this 143rd day of the year, Pennsylvanian’s are being encouraged to embrace and spread kindness the same way Rogers did each day through his children’s program Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
The State Department of Community and Economic Development is challenging each of us to show extra acts of kindness, love, and generosity to friends, family, and neighbors today during the 5th Annual 1-4-3 Day in PA.
