The Pittsburgh Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve won their 50th game of the season last night. It was a 6-5 decision over Hartford at PNG Field. The Curve and Yard Goats go at it again tonight in Altoona. Game time is 6pm.
Pittsburgh Steelers:
Training Camp for the Pittsburgh Steelers this week includes two more days of public practices, today and Thursday. The team will take to the practice field at St. Vincent College in Latrobe at 1:55 this afternoon, The Steelers’ first preseason game will be Saturday evening at Jacksonville. Yesterday, Pittsburgh announced they have signed defensive back, Daryl Porter Jr.
