Clearfield 56, St. Marys 43 – Clearfield will face Carrick of District 8 in a subregional playoff game on Friday

Tonight, the girls’ Class 1-A and 2-A semifinals games will be played … In Class 1A, top-seeded DuBois Central Catholic will take on Clarion-Limestone, and second-seeded Otto-Eldred will go up against Elk County Catholic. … In Class 2-A, Brockway will take on top-seeded Keystone, and Kane will battle Port Allegany.

Pittsburgh Pirates:

Pittsburgh Pirate, and Major League Baseball’s top prospect, Konnor Griffin, powered the Bucs to a 16-7 win over Boston Tuesday. The Spring Training game featured two Griffin home runs and four RBI. This afternoon, the Bucs will battle the Atlanta Braves in Venice, Florida.

Pittsburgh Penguins:

Coming up tomorrow night, the Pittsburgh Penguins return to the ice and resume regular season action following a three-week break for the Winter Olympics. The Pens host the New Jersey Devils Thursday evening with the pregame show starting at 6pm. The opening puck drop is set for 7pm. Tune in for Penguins hockey action on Connect FM.
