Pittsburgh Pirates:
On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Pirates finished their recent seven game road trip in Boston and looking to notch a sweep of the Red Sox. But the Bucs came up short to Boston, 5-2.
The Bucs are back home for the next six games. The LA Dodgers are in town, and you can listen for the Pirates-Dodgers pregame show at 6:15 this evening on Connect FM. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:40.
Altoona Curve:
The Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve claimed three weekend games from Harrisburg. The latest was Altoona’s 8-0 shutout of the Senators on Sunday. Tonight, the Curve begin their final regular season home series against Richmond. Game one of the series is scheduled to begin at 6:05 at PNG Field.
