Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates are back home and will start a three-game series with the Giants tonight. This evening’s Pirates pregame show starts at 6:15. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:40 on Connect FM.
Altoona Curve:
The Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve are down to their final two series of the season. Altoona opens a six-game series in Harrisburg tonight with the first pitch at 6:30.
College Football:
Western PA’s college football season begins on Thursday. Clarion hosts West Virginia Wesleyan, and IUP plays at Ashland. On Saturday, the 18th ranked Penn State Nittany Lions host Marshall with a 3:30pm kickoff time. The Pitt Panthers host Miami of Ohio. That game has a 12:30pm kickoff time.
